Privacy Policy

Have You Rested ("App") is developed by ROLIA GROUP LIMITED ("we", "us"). Your privacy is fundamental to the App's design.

1. Camera data

The App uses the Mac's front-facing camera to detect whether you are looking at the screen, present but looking away, or absent. All processing happens entirely on your device, in memory. No video, images, or biometric data are ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. Frames are analysed and immediately discarded.

2. Data we collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or telemetry
• No crash reports sent automatically
• Network connections go to exactly one host, have-you-rested.rolia.ee, for two purposes: (a) Pro license activation and its periodic re-validation, which send the email address used at purchase (during restore) and an anonymous one-way hash of your Mac's hardware identifier used solely to enforce the 2-Mac limit; it reveals no serial number or personal data, and (b) an optional update check (off by default) that fetches the latest version number and carries no identifiers at all.
• No accounts or sign-ups

3. Data stored locally

The App stores your preferences (break intervals, sensitivity, calibration) in macOS UserDefaults and your license token in the macOS Keychain. This data never leaves your Mac.

4. Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle collects payment and billing information under their own Privacy Policy. We receive only your email address and license entitlement from Paddle; we do not receive or store payment details.

5. This website

The App contains no analytics; this website does. We use Mixpanel to understand basic usage: page views and button clicks. Email addresses you enter here go only to our own server (to send a download link or a purchase receipt), never to Mixpanel. No advertising, no cross-site tracking, and nothing from the website is ever linked to what the App does on your Mac.

6. Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, this is satisfied by design.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
